Welcome to my gallery. Everything you see here is made by hand in stoneware clays, following ancient traditions…thrown on a potter’s wheel, sculpted and formed, fired in a kiln, decorated, glazed and fired once more. This is a very labor-intensive proposition, but yields the best results. All of the work on these pages is one-of-a-kind; none of my work is cast.

When I create a series, I generally do editions of three, six or twelve, each piece following the basic design, but as a variation on that theme. I work in stoneware clays to achieve a high degree of texture and coloration complimentary to the subjects. My work is intended to be tactile as well as visual. For the most part, my work is intended to be Fun!

All drinking vessels and food containers are lined with food-safe glazes that are dish washer safe; however, I do not recommend microwaving. Garden pieces are weather-proofed; water should not be allowed to accumulate in these items in areas that experience hard freezes as the pieces will break.

Payment
Payment on line is via credit card. When a request is made for a purchase, you will be E-mailed an invoice, including shipping, handling and sales tax (Florida residents only). Personal checks and money orders are accepted as well (see information on Contact page). Checks returned marked NSF are subject to a $30 fee.
